ADB aid for Assam

WB aid for environment growth

Shimla: The World Bank (WB) has in-principle agreed to sanction Himachal Pradesh a Development Policy Loan (DPL) of $450 million for sustainable environmental growth, keeping in view the record of the state on the environmental front.

This was revealed by Chief Minister PK Dhumal after a meeting with the World Bank authorities and environmental experts in Washington yesterday.

Govt moots Rs1,000 crore fund to aid FCIL
