Erosion gives sleepless nights to villagers

BHADRAK: Several families in a hamlet in Bhadrak district are living in constant fear of their homes being wiped out soon due to massive erosion by the river Salandi.

Palatpur, situated on the Salandi banks near Akhandalmani temple, 55 km from the district headquarters, has already lost its playing and cattle grazing fields due to erosion by the river.
