The State Cabinet on Thursday went on a land allotment spree sanctioning prime real estate in different parts of the State to private players and government agencies for commercial, industrial and residential purposes.

The State Forest department has decided to grow over 20 lakh sandalwood trees on 2,000 acres of land at a cost of Rs 50 crore in nine districts of the State.
