Solan: CM Prem Kumar Dhumal today said the multi-crore Pandit Deen Dayal Kisan Samridhi Yojana Polyhouse project will boost production of off-season vegetables and floriculture.

He was addressing a public meeting at Kandaghat, after laying the foundation stone of the building of the Civil Hospital, to be constructed at a cost of Rs 2.44 crore.

Not caring two hoots about the High Court

Solan, September 02 A two-member team of the Central Bureau of Investigations on Tuesday, arrived in Rihun village, Solan sub-division, to probe the case where 18 people from Haryana, including Punjab and Haryana High Court Judge Nirmal Yadav, had purchased land allegedly in violation of the Himachal Pradesh Land Reforms and Tenancy Act-1972. The team also visited the office of Tehsildar and inquired about the facts relating to the controversial land deal.
