Fishermen oppose draft CZM plan
G Saravanan | ENS Chennai SHOWING their displeasure against the Central Government's motive, the Tamil Nadu fishermen on Thursday unanimously rejected the proposed Coastal Zone Management draft notification-2008 by terming it as a move to evict them from their coastal area and allow tourist resorts and industries backed by multinationals to launch their business there.
