Power generation: Focus on mini-hydel projects
Moving in the direction of generating power from the renewable energy sources, Haryana Renewable Energy Development Agency (HAREDA) is encouraging private investors to set up projects in the fields of solar power, biomass, wind energy, small hydro and co-generation biomass power projects. The agency invited proposals from private companies to harness small hydro power in three phases for generation of over 17-MW of power.
