15 deer in Jamuna Eco Park die of heart attack!
Three more deer in Jamuna Eco Park in Sirajganj died on Saturday due to alleged carelessness of park authorities. With these the casualty figure rose to 15 so far, official sources said. Seven deer were released in the park during its inauguration on March 9 this year as part of a beautification programme. Next day, seven more deer were released. After a few days, 12 deer out of the 14 went missing. The Park authorities claimed that some of the deer died from different diseases, while others killed or driven out by foxes and dogs.
