Resettlement and rehabilitation policy of Coal India Ltd 2008
The purpose of this statement is to set out the basic principles for the resettlement and rehabilitation of people affected by coal mining projects (PAPs). As such, this statement attempts to streamline the different resettlement and rehabilitation practices that are being followed by subsidiaries and to modify them in a way that allows subsidiaries to deal more effectively with resettlement and rehabilitation issues.
