Mekong-Ganga dialogue (water, food and energy)

Mekong-Ganga Dialogue (MGD) is an international cooperation forum for enhancing understanding between Mekong and Ganga countries about water, food and energy challenges. MDG organized its first official opening conference in New Delhi, India on 7th – 9th May, 2012 through the collaborative efforts of a Delhi based think-tank, Observer Research Foundation (ORF) and the Mekong Program on Water, Environment and Resilience (M-POWER), a knowledge and governance network from the Mekong Region in East Asia. The Mekong-Ganga Dialogue aims to focus on a shared cross-learning between communities of practitioners, policymakers and scholars focusing on transboundary and regional cooperation, and the water-food-energy nexus.
