Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Dr. P.C. Prasad & Ors. Vs. Govt. Of NCT of Delhi & Ors. dated 11/11/2013 regarding the environmental aspects of the Elevated Road project. Nearly 14076 trees are to be uprooted or felled for carrying on this project. Most of these trees are fully grown up trees i.e. of an age of 20 years plus and as such uprooting of these trees would have immediate serious impact on environment.
