Tourism Minister inaugurates work, taken up at a cost of Rs. 32 lakh The Tuticorin Corporation has embarked on a new project to convert solid and liquid waste into energy for consumption. The work taken up at a cost of Rs. 32 lakh was inaugurated by S.P. Shanmuganathan, Tourism Minister, at a compost yard in Tharuvaikulam here on Tuesday.
