Draft rules for land act to be public
The government will soon publicize the draft rules for implementing the Union government's flagship law - Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act. The revenue and parliamentary affairs department is looking into the issue. Officials said the government will not make new additions or deletions to the act; it is only finding out solutions to implement the legislation in the state’s context.
