Ambient air and noise quality in India during Diwali
This new study published in the journal Research in Science and Technology reviews effects of fireworks on the air quality of major Indian cities during Diwali. Expressing concern over increase in particulate matter during this festival, it suggests development of serious strategies to control the use of firecrackers to protect human health.
