Economic Survey of Delhi 2014 - 2015

Delhi suffers from air pollution caused by transportation, road dust, industries and domestic air emissions says Delhi Economic Survey 2014-15 released on 24 June 2015. 

Economic Survey of Delhi 2014-15: In reflection of growing economic prosperity of Delhiites, the per capita annual income in the national capital rose by nearly 14 per cent to Rs 2.41 lakh in 2014-15 compared to the previous fiscal, which is almost three times the national average. According to Economic Survey of Delhi 2014-15 tabled in the Delhi Assembly, the annual per capita income in the national capital increased from Rs 2.12 lakh in 2013-14. The national per capita income in 2014-15 stood at Rs 87,748. As per the survey, the Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP) at current prices during 2014-15 has increased to over Rs 4.51 lakh crore, a growth of 15.35 per cent over the previous year. At constant prices, the growth of the Gross State Domestic Product for 2014-15 is 8.2 per cent as compared to 7.4 per cent recorded at national level.
