Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Jaipal Singh Vs. Lt. Governor, Delhi & Ors. dated 29/10/2015 regarding invasion of South Ridge Forest/Rangpuri Ridge Area caused by unauthorized construction.
Joint Inspection Report dated 4th June, 2015 reveals that 1,365 bigha and 05 biswa of village Rangpuri was notified as the Reserved Forest by the Revenue Department vide Notification No. F.I (29)/PA/DC/95 dated 2nd April, 1966 and only 1127 bighas of land therefrom has been handed over to the Forest Department.
