World Risk Report 2015: focus - food insecurity
The focal topic of the WorldRiskReport 2015 is food security. The report examines the connections, influences and fields of tension between food security and disaster risk. It also includes the WorldRiskIndex which evaluates the exposure to natural hazards faced by 171 countries and assesses the inherent vulnerability in the countries towards suffering from impacts related to these hazards. Finally, the report includes recommendations for action and perspectives to secure food supply and prevent disasters.
