Judgement of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of M/s Arpit Marbles Private Limited Vs Rajasthan Pollution Control Board Through & Others dated 25/09/2018. The appellants have challenged the order dated 06.11.2015 vide which Rajasthan State Pollution Control Board has refused renewal of Mining Leases of Limestone Mineral situated at Tehsil Jamuwa Ramgarh District Jaipur. The mine lease area is within 1 km of the boundary of Jamwa Ramgarh Sanctuary.
 
National Green Tribunal while dismissing the Application said that no mining activity can be permitted up to 1 km from the boundaries of the National Parks and Sanctuaries anywhere in the country. And that
all the mining leases are situated within 1 km of the Jamuwa Ramgarh Wildlife Sanctuary. Therefore, in terms of the orders of the Supreme Court dated 04/08/2006 no mining activity can be permitted within 1 km of the boundary of the Jamuwa Ramgarh Wildlife Sanctuary.
