"If the government doesn`t listen, we will rebel"

  • 14/04/1993

On the Dunkel proposals:
Ye Dunkel to hamen dank maregi (Dunkel will sting us badly). This is a conspiracy against Indian farmers. Why did the government keep this a secret? Why wasn't the draft translated into Hindi?

Why should we allow multinational companies to dominate Indian agriculture? If Dunkel gets his way, the country will get enslaved a second time. How can our rulers forget the evil trap of the British East India Company?

On those favouring the proposals:
(Sharad) Joshi and his followers are government agents. They want to sell out to foreigners. Hum kahte hain, Joshi DY11i mein pit jayega (I predict Joshi will-get a beating in Delhi.)

On the government:
Hamara pongathcrn Dunkel ko rokne ke'liye khada hai. Sarkar nahin sunti to bhoyankar vidroh hoga. (0ur organisation is here to stop Dunkel. If the government doesn't lislen, there will be a terrible revolt.)
