PANJIM: In a major fallout of a Herald investigation, one of the state’s oldest mines owned by Damodar Mangalji and Company Limited (DMC) was asked to shut down its operations and vacate the lease, after the paper exposed major illegalities, including working on dumps illegally after the state government banned dump workings.
