New Delhi: Refusing to take responsibility for the rise of dengue cases in the city, Municipal Corporation of Delhi blamed the situation on work related to Commonwealth Games and resistance to fogging by Delhiites.
Though claiming the situation arising out increased of dengue was not worrisome, the Municipal Corporation of Delhi has decided to adopt a tough tone in telling the people about the steps that they need to take for prevention of the disease. Meanwhile, the total number of dengue cases in the city rose to 464 as 26 fresh cases were reported on Thursday.

New Delhi: Dengue has emerged as a major threat this season with hospitals around the city reporting a sharp increase in the number of cases and yet the government response seems to be muted. The MCD says the situation is under control and only 425 cases have been reported so far in the capital.
New Delhi: With 25 more people testing positive for dengue on Monday, the total number of those suffering from the vector-borne disease in the capital this season touched 391.

NEW DELHI: The Capital is seeing a spurt in the number of dengue cases with nearly a dozen persons testing positive for the vector-borne disease this week, taking the total tally of positive cases so far this season to 320. Two dengue deaths have also been reported this year. The Municipal Corporation of Delhi has admitted that there has been an increase in the number of dengue cases this month.
The health department heaved a sigh of relief as the climate changed. Due to onset of winter number of dengue fever patients in the city has come down. As the night temperature is coming down number of mosquitoes that spread dengue fever has also reduced. It is said that all dengue mosquitoes would be destroyed when the night temperature reaches below 16 degrees Celsius.
