VPs garbage disposal case hearing on Nov 29
A three-year-old case related to garbage disposal in village panchayats will come for final hearing on November 29 before the Division Bench of Bombay High Court at Goa.
The double bench comprising of Justices D G Karnik and F M Reis directed all the VPs to file a compliance report over the garbage disposal site by October 31.

Angul dumps sanitation plans
ANGUL: Waste spilling onto the road along the canal in the town continues to be an eyesore.
The problem persists despite the fact that the municipality has been allotted five acres at Kusasinnga for dumping garbage.
It has also availed of the sanctioned ` 11 lakh in March last.
However, there has been no headway in the tender floated by the municipality for the boundary wall.
