Joshi clears NREGS funds for Rajiv kendras

Overruling objections by prominent Central Employment Guarantee Council (CEGC) members Jean Dreze and Aruna Roy, Rural Development Minister C P Joshi on Monday said the government would go ahead and construct Rajiv Gandhi Sewa Kendras from NREGS funds. The CEGC is the apex body monitoring the job scheme.
