New Delhi: Ten projects, worth over Rs 800 crore, sanctioned by the Centre in 2008 under the Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission are yet to take off. These projects are to be undertaken by Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD). They include long-pending multi-level parking projects. The urban development department cited the lack of clearance of the projects by regulatory bodies like UTTIPEC and EPCA as the reason behind the delay. The deadline for completion of the projects is March 2012. If they do not begin soon, there is a possibility that the required finances will not be allocated to them.
