A 13-megawatt new multifuel power plant has been built at Basbari, Tanisiniuwari village development committee in Morang district of Nepal. The power plant was built with the joint cooperation of the Nordic Development Fund (NDF), the Finnish Export Credit (FAC), the Nepal government and Nepal Electricity Authority at the total cost of Rs 9.77 million. The power generated from it has been fed into the central grid system.
