Rajapalayam, TWO children of Meenatchipuram near Rajapalayam, who consumed bottled soft drink, died soon after consuming it on Tuesday. Priya (10) and Gnanaselvi (7) on returning home from school consumed soft drink on Tuesday evening, said their parents Jeyaraj and Murugeswary. Within minutes, both the children fell unconscious and they were taken to a nearby hospital were they died. The deaths caused some tensed moments in the area, police said. Dalavaipuram police registered a case and sent their bodies for post-mortem at Rajapalayam hospital. The Dalavaipuram police are also questioning the Jeyaraj and Mur ug eswary about the bottle of cool drink.
