2-yr plan to reduce air pollution level

The Bangladesh government will launch a two-year Air Quality Management Project in the Capital city of Dhaka and two other cities of the country by the end of the current year to reduce the level of air pollution mostly caused by two stroke engines and the diesel run vehicles. The two-year project to be implemented at a cost of Taka 29 crore will be financed by the Government of Bangladesh and the World Bank.
