Three workers died on Wednesday in an explosion at one of Europe's biggest gas-fired power stations at Teesside, northern England.US energy group Enron, the plant's owner, said two other workers were seriously injured in the blast and subsequent fire at the plant on an industrial complex in the Grandgetown district of Middlesbrough.
