Implementation of the much awaited 300 million dollar Dhaka Power System Upgrade Project couldn't yet start, delaying improvement in the problematic electricity supply in the capital. Moreover the donor-aided scheme is targeted to extend the capital's distribution and transmission systems covering the rural areas in greater Dhaka.
