5 states willing to set up power plants in Chhatisgarh : Jogi

Chhatisgarh Chief Minister Ajit Jogi today said five states--Gujarat, Delhi, Punjab, Haryana and Karnataka--have expressed their willingness to set up power plants in the state for generating cheap electricity. "We have abundance of natural resources like coal for the proposed power generating projects and we expect to increase the generation many times in the near future," Jogi told reporters after signing a memorandum of understanding with Jindals Steel and Power and Monnet Ispat Ltd here.
