Over 500 suspected leprosy cases were detected in Ahmedabad city and district in a survey, which began on Friday as part of a leprosy elimination campaign. The district tuberculosis officer and head of the leprosy campaign in Ahmedabad district, said about 493 suspected cases were detected from 3,96,367 persons covered under the survey.
