The 60 megawatt steam turbine power plant, which was out of operation for the last nine years, has begun functioning again after a massive overhauling at a cost of nearly Tk 100 crore by Bangladesh Power Development Board (PDB). The overhauling activities had begun in May 1997 and ended in August this year.
