Seventy schoolchildren from the Narmada Valley arrived a the Capital today to request the President, K.R.Narayanan, to visit the valley and see the ground realities there for himself. The children were welcomed at India Gate by a group of Delhi-based supporters of the Narmada cause. The trip has been organised by the Delhi support group of the Narmada Bachao Andolan.
