Cases of large-scale of girl babies belonging to poor people of the Lambada community have come to light in Chincholi taluk of Gulbarga district. Cases of such sales have been reported from the nearly 45 Lambada thandas coming under the Konchavaram, Shadipur and Venkatapur gram panchayats in Chilcholi taluk.
