India's green power programme, led by the wind industry, is seeing red. Reasons for this are many. Unlike normal years, this year the summer wind failed to blow in April and it is slow even now. All hopes are, therefore, pinned on the monsoon winds expected to blow mid-May onwards. The Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA) has put on hold all loans to wind power investors.
