- Advertising code for tobacco drafted

Cigrettes have always generated a lot of smoke. This time the Advertising Standards Council of India has drafted a code of advertising for tobacco companies which advises, among other things- a stop to surrogate advertising-that young role models would not be featured in the advertisement material and does not suggest extraordinary success in any field because of smoking or consuming tobacco products.
