After a governmental plea, international pesticide companies to help clean up Ethiopia's pesticide problem

The impoverished nation of Ethiopia has 3,000 tonnes of obsolete pesticides, the highest amount in Africa, which the government has described as "a time bomb". The global pesticide trade body, the Global Crop Protection Federation (GCPF) has admitted that almost 3,000 tonnes of obsolete pesticides are spread around some 950 sites in Ethiopia.
