The Science and Technology Agency and its affiliate, the National Institute of Radiological Sciences, have drastically revised the previously announced radioactivity levels in areas around the JCO Co. uranium reconversion plant in Tokaimura, Ibaraki Prefecture, where Japan's worst nuclear accident occurred Sept. 30.
