AIDS is hitting so fiercely that it now rivals history's greatest and deadliest epidemics, United Naitons officials said. They also said the AIDS epidemics would worsen before it improved. The overwhelming majority of the 30 million people infected with HIV, are doomed to die because they live in countries that cannot provide adequate health care.
