The Almatti dam will be dedicated to the nation in January, Major Irrigation Minister H K Patil has said. Speaking to reporters after visiting the spiritual centre - Hashimpeer Darga here today, Mr Patil said the work on the dam is almost complete and observed that about 515 metre-level of water had been collected in the dam this year.
