Aomori Prefecture in Japan is to get nuclear power plant at Ohma-machi following approval on Aug. 3 from the Electric Power Development Coordination Council, an advisory body to Prime Minister Keizo Obuchi. It will be the world's first nuclear reactor fueled solely by MOX (plutonium-uranium mixed oxide).
