A new concept of rural development introduced by the district administration is ushering in a new era of development in the countryside. The concept involves clubbing funds available under various schemes to the Zila Parishads, Panchayat Samitis and gram panchayats for the execution of bigger projects. The new scheme has led to creation of large community assets in almost all villages of the district.
