Slapped with notices for cancellation of projects allotted more than three years back, some of the big hydro-power companies have not yet given up their hopes for a back-door entry to grab key projects. The main reason quoted in the notices sent last year which later also led to cancellation of more than four dozen projects out of a total 137 allotted to the top Indian companies, a majority of these from Hyderabad and Bangalore, is failure of the companies to show progress at the allotted sites.
