The Union government has decided to convene a meeting of officials of Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka to find an amicable solution to the contentious Upper Tunga and Paragodu projects. The Union water resrources minister, Mr Arjun Charan Sethia, announced that the meeting would be held on 25 June.
