: Andhra Pradesh has the highest number of Central projects under implementation at 68 out of a total of 674 projects. As per the status report on Central sector project implementation by the ministry of statistics and programme implementation, Uttar Pradesh follows next with 52 infrastructural projects costing between Rs 20 crore and Rs 1,000 crore. Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and Orissa each have 50, 45 and 44 projects currently under implementation respectively.
