Nepal's Minister of Water Resources Govind Raj Joshi said that the Government has included 18 projects with the total capacity to generate 3,397 megawatts of electric power in the Least Cost Generation Expansion Plan (LCGEP). The list also includes the 402-megawatt Arun III project that was aborted after the World Bank, a major financier, pulled out of the project.
