The Arunchal Pradesh government and Northeastern Electric Power corporation (Neepco) have signed a memorandum of understanding(MoU) for execution of the 600 mw Kameng hydel project, the biggest in the region, to harness water of rivers Tenga and Bichom in Kameng district.
