Over 200 scientists, physicians , public health specialists and others from 38 countries, including India, are participating in what the University of California San Francisco terms the first ever workshop dedicated to developing realistic steps that these regions can take to stem HIV/AIDS. Organisers say the ongoing seminar is different from previous international meetings on the subject as it focusses on "practical and affordable actions for developing nations".
