Dwarka is the largest residential colony of Asia with around 35 per cent occupancy. Although, the Metro work is under progress, a flyover connecting Dwarka to south Delhi will also be completed by 2005. Still, it remains one of the undeveloped residential colonies in the national Capital. Dwarka, the suburban city is just a name, says SS Rawat, president, Resident Welfare Association, Netaji Subhash Apartments, Sector-13 Dwarka. "We are facing shortage of water for the last couple of months, and we have approached almost everyone. But, no one is there to listen to the problems of residents of Dwarka," he said. Most of the sectors are facing the same problem. Either they are getting contaminated water or scarcity of water is there.
