The Sagar Island has created history around the globe by being the first to produce quality grid electricity - 220 volts/50 Hz - by harnessing solar energy through SPV power, which has engineered a quite rural revolution.Each home is provided with five points at Rs 120 per month, plus initial expenditure of Rs 1000, and at least six hours of light each night.
