Atomic power plant planned at Rajapur

Rajapur in Shivpuri district(Madhya Pradesh) may soon have an atomic power plant. A three member team from Nuclear Power Corporation (NPC), Mumbai recently visited Rajapur and explored the possibilities of establishing an atomic power plant. The state is facing severe power crisis and now that the private companies are no longer interested in establishing power houses in MP, the Digvijay government has expressed its willingness to get atomic power plants installed in the state.
